Biography

Evelyne is a Post-Doctoral fellow with the AGE-WELL NCE project at the University of Toronto. In her experience as an occupational therapist working with older adults in inpatient rehabilitation and complex continuing care, Evelyne became particularly attuned to ethical complexities inherent in care services. Her research program thus focuses on questions of autonomy, vulnerability, equity and justice in relation to health and social care service delivery here in Ontario as well as in developing countries such as Rwanda. In her current projects with AGE-WELL she is examining questions of ethics and equity in relation to access to assistive technology as part of health and social care for older adults and persons with disabilities.
