Biography
Howard joined the IATSL team in September 2014. His research focuses on game design aspects motivating stroke patients in motor rehabilitation therapy with the haptic upper-limb robot. The hope is to increase adherence and motivation, for future work to further develop recovery outcomes and transfer to daily life activities.
Howard is a graduate of the Electrical and Biomedical Engineering program at McMaster University. For his undergraduate capstone project, he was the LabVIEW programmer for a heart diagnostics monitor prototype.
