Biography

Neeraja holds an Honours BSc specializing in Bioinformatics from Western University. She is interested in the integration of technology and fields such as healthcare and neuroscience. For her undergraduate thesis project, Neeraja used statistical and computational analysis techniques to compare beat perception test batteries that are commonly used in music research. She also worked at a micro systems lab in Freiburg, Germany for two months as part of a summer research program and interned at IBM Canada for a year.

Neeraja will be starting her Masters of Computer Science in the fall of 2018. She will be working on the voice-based COACH system. The main goal is to improve the quality of the existing system by augmenting it with basic speech recognition capabilities.
