Biography

Geneviève holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Biomedical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal. For her undergraduate capstone project she developed a smart dragon boat paddle to assist athletes and coaches in improving performances.

Geneviève started her Master of Applied Science in 2014 at IATSL. Her Master’s thesis focuses on developing a shared-control table-docking feature for an intelligent powered wheelchair to assist older adults with cognitive impairments in this fundamental task of daily living. Her research interests include robotics, computer vision, and human-computer interaction.
