Biography

Javad is a Computer Science PhD student at the University of Toronto (UofT), under the supervision of Dr. Babak Taati. He earned his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic). Javad’s research interests encompass machine learning and computer vision, with a focus on enhancing the efficiency of vision models, image and video generation, and token reduction in Vision Transformers. He is also exploring advancements in image restoration (e.g., super-resolution), Human Pose Estimation (HPE), recognition, and robustness.
