Biography

Yasamin is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, where she is affiliated with the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence and the UHN KITE Research Institute. Under the guidance of Dr. Babak Taati, her research focuses on advancing automatic pain detection technologies through the use of synthetic datasets. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. Her academic journey and research interests are driven by a commitment to leveraging cutting-edge AI methodologies to enhance healthcare solutions.
